HOW ARE ECOLOGICAL PRIMARY SHRIMP RAISED IN A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT?
Broodstock shrimp: are caught naturally and strictly controlled for pathogens before being fed to Giao Vi. Broodstock shrimp are raised until maturity with natural food such as: crab larvae,… Broodstock shrimp reproduce completely. All natural, no eyerolls cut, after handing over, they will be released into the natural environment to ensure the best quality of Postlavae (absolutely no genetically modified animals are used).
Postlavae: strictly controlled, no antibiotics or artificial feed are used. Fed with natural food such as: Artemia. When they reach PL12 – PL15, they are released into the mangrove forest so they can grow and develop according to the shrimp’s primitive instincts. They eat natural foods such as: true plankton (green algae, dinoflagellates, diatom… ); Lively plankton, copepods,…
During the growth and development process of shrimp, shrimp farmers are not allowed to add any artificial feed, chemicals, or antibiotics to shrimp.
Harvesting: do not use fishing gear such as: electric pulse net,… twice a month, large shrimp often “run on water”, meaning follow the water. That’s when shrimp farmers open the drain valve and place the net right at the drain to harvest shrimp.
Processing: Organic shrimp is selectively purchased and temperature is always guaranteed during transportation to the factory. With modern freezing technology, the freshness and deliciousness of organic shrimp are always maintained as if they were just caught. Absolutely no food additives are used in the processing of Seaprodex Ecological Shrimp.
Closely supervised by Naturland organization (Federal Republic of Germany) throughout the entire process: seed production, farming, harvesting, processing and preservation.
Ecological shrimp farming squares must meet the standard of natural forest coverage of over 50% of the area. Therefore, organic shrimp farming also contributes to ensuring the mangrove forest area towards sustainable development.
