On the afternoon of January 29, 2026, Ms. Eve Devoldere – Trade and Investment Counsellor for Flanders at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Vietnam, together with Mr. Ruben Props – CEO of KYTOS, paid a working visit to Vietnam Seaproducts Corporation (SEAPRODEX) to explore potential cooperation opportunities in the seafood sector.

Receiving and working with the delegation, SEAPRODEX was represented by Mr. Mai Xuân Phong – General Director, Mr. Lê Vĩnh Hòa – Deputy General Director, Mr. Đỗ Trung Chuyên – Deputy General Director, along with representatives of relevant departments. The Corporation introduced an overview of its operational history, production and business capacity, member company system, and sustainable development orientation aligned with the requirements of high-end export markets.

During the meeting, both sides focused on discussing cooperation opportunities related to seafood exports to the Belgian market, as well as the potential development of sustainable aquaculture zones in Vietnam through the application of science and technology and advanced management solutions.

 

Ms. Eve Devoldere acknowledged the strong cooperation potential between SEAPRODEX and partners from the Kingdom of Belgium, and affirmed the Belgian Embassy’s willingness to support business matchmaking and promote cooperation between enterprises of both sides. In addition, Mr. Ruben Props – CEO of KYTOS, expressed interest in collaborating with SEAPRODEX to implement technological solutions for sustainable aquaculture and enhanced export value.

The meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, serving as an important foundation for promoting trade cooperation, technology transfer, and sustainable development in the seafood industry between SEAPRODEX and Belgian partners in the coming period.
