On the afternoon of December 9, 2025, at its head office, Vietnam National Seaproducts Corporation (SEAPRODEX) held a meeting with Mr. Tom Bosschaert, Founder and Director of Except Integrated Sustainability (Except).

Representing SEAPRODEX were Mr. Mai Xuân Phong – Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Lê Vĩnh Hòa – Deputy CEO, along with leaders from the Portfolio Management Department.

During the meeting, CEO Mai Xuân Phong provided an overview of SEAPRODEX’s history, core business sectors, development strategy, and sustainable transition orientation for the new phase. In response, Mr. Tom Bosschaert shared the development journey of Except, its operational philosophy, and the integrated sustainability solutions the company has implemented globally to address environmental, social, and governance challenges.

The discussion centered on Except’s interest in gaining deeper insights into the sustainable development perspectives and directions presented by CEO Mai Xuân Phong at GEF 2025. Except expressed a desire to further explore the sustainable models SEAPRODEX is pursuing, as well as potential areas for collaboration in the future.

The meeting took place in an open, constructive atmosphere. Both sides agreed that their shared values in sustainable development form a strong foundation for further research and cooperation, particularly in areas such as ESG strategic consulting, circular economy models, energy optimization, sustainable supply chain development, and green transition within the seafood industry.

 

Both parties exchanged gifts and took commemorative photos.

The meeting concluded with expectations for meaningful and effective cooperation between SEAPRODEX and Except, contributing to SEAPRODEX’s sustainability strategy amid deepening international integration and increasingly stringent global market requirements.
