On September 10th, 2024, right after storm No. 3 (Yagi) swept through, the Executive Board coordinated with the Corporation’s Trade Union to organize a delegation to visit and meet with officers and employees of units headquartered in Hai Phong City, which had just suffered serious damage as a result of the storm.
The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung – Deputy General Director and Ms. Dang Thi Minh Hieu – Chairman of the Corporation’s Trade Union. The delegation visited and presented gifts to support units including: Seaprodex Hai Phong Branch, Vietnam Fishery Mechanical Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Fishery Material Joint Stock Company, Ha Long Canned Food Joint Stock Corporation, Branch of Hanoi Seaproducts Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation.
The delegation listened and shared about the damage caused by the storm affecting production and the workers’ lives at the units.
Deputy General Director-Mr Nguyen Thanh Trung highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and bravery of the leadership and employees in preventing and fighting natural disasters at units affected by storm No. 3. The Corporation will always accompany and be ready to support employees in all circumstances, especially in difficult times after natural disasters.
Mrs. Dang Thi Minh Hieu – President of the Trade Union also shared the difficulties of the units and all cadres and workers, hoping that the units would soon overcome the consequences, quickly stabilize production activities and workers’ lives.
