On the morning of May 8, 2025, a working session took place at the headquarters of Vietnam Seaproducts Joint Stock Corporation (SEAPRODEX) between SEAPRODEX’s leadership and Mr. Paul-Antoine Croize, Co-Chairman of the Food, Agriculture and Aquaculture Subcommittee (FAABS) under the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham Vietnam).

Attending the meeting on behalf of SEAPRODEX were Mr. Le Vinh Hoa – Deputy General Director, along with key executives of the Corporation.

 

SEAPRODEX Presents Its Development Journey

During the meeting, Mr. Le Vinh Hoa delivered a brief introduction on the Corporation’s history and operations. He emphasized: “SEAPRODEX is a pioneering enterprise in Vietnam’s seafood export sector. We are always eager to expand cooperation with international partners, especially reputable organizations like EuroCham, in order to improve product quality and meet the stringent requirements of the European market.”

In response, Mr. Paul-Antoine Croize expressed his impression of SEAPRODEX’s achievements and shared insights into both the opportunities and challenges faced by Vietnamese enterprises exporting to the EU. He expressed his willingness to support and connect SEAPRODEX with potential partners across the EU, particularly in France, Finland, and the Netherlands.

He also provided significant insights regarding cooperation strategies and the development of the food and seafood industries in the context of global integration—especially amid the unpredictable economic shifts brought about by new U.S. retaliatory tariffs.

The two sides reached a consensus on several potential areas of cooperation, including: Technical support to enhance seafood product quality; Sharing market intelligence and consumption trends in Europe; Strengthening exchanges and connections between EuroCham member enterprises and SEAPRODEX

The meeting was held in a candid and constructive atmosphere, generating high expectations from both parties. This event is considered a significant milestone, opening the door for long-term cooperation between SEAPRODEX and European businesses, and promoting the advancement of Vietnam’s seafood industry on the global stage.
